Making Digital Video A Profitable Business
Making Digital Video A Profitable Business
By Steve Robinson in Video Marketing
As we begin 2009, the opportunity for major media and entertainment companies to make digital video into a profitable business effort has never been as promising, or important. Online consumption of top programming is expanding exponentially, digital video content management and media rights management (also known as DRM) are widely available and maturing, and CDN distribution costs for high quality and near-HD content are continually decreasing.
Today’s economic climate, if viewed properly, actually makes moving new business opportunities, such as digital video, toward profitability simpler. Why? During periods of free-spending economic conditions we have the tendency to spend money on anything that sounds plausible. During tighter economic times, however, budgets are reduced and options are fewer, so resources need to be focused on achievable and profitable goals. If new businesses and their teams focus on the basics of achieving profitability in stringent economic conditions, business units will be positioned to accelerate profitability through sound expansion as economic conditions improve. Solid business practices built around simplified operations, sustainable revenues, low costs and a positive ROI approach with limited investment capital typically win and sustain long-term.
So if the goal of a major media and entertainment company is to build a sustainable, profitable digital video business unit, then how should management approach this challenge? First, it’s critical to develop strategies that can be achieved and measured in just a couple of quarters that build profitability with relative straightforwardness. Strategically, this means shooting for wins that may seem basic but in fact create a successful foundation upon which expansion can be built.
An example of a strategic goal might be to develop an ad sales operation flush with a rich (but not unlimited) number of ad products, avail capabilities and avail types that can be sold against all content on a fixed number of properties. A tactical execution plan that pursues a simplified approach for allowing different teams (ad sales, ad ops, player engineering) to function cohesively yet autonomously will create that solid foundation for future growth. As profitable results are achieved, ad products and avail successes can be measured and fine-tuned, allowing immediate expansion to more properties with a cohesive offering and streamlined low-cost operations.
Syndication will naturally follow — and, similarly, developing a strategy that becomes tactically repeatable is the key. Instead of focusing on fewer syndication points, the plan should be to concentrate on tactical ease that becomes “clone-able” and immediately profitable for each partner rather than trying to distribute everywhere. If your syndication strategy doesn’t take on a cloning feel after completing three to four syndication deals, step back and determine what you need to do to develop a turnkey process. If the tactical execution of your syndication practice can’t become turn-key, then your syndication business won’t become profitable.
Often it is said the best time to pursue new business opportunities is when your only option is to focus on achievable, profitable business milestones. The time to turn digital video business units into profitable foundations for growth is today. Building a longterm, sustainable business through multiple short-term successes and profitable measurement points is the right approach in today’s business environment.
Steve Robinson is CEO of Panache, which offers an ad-insertion platform that provides major media and entertainment companies with the infrastructure to generate and increase revenues in their movement of video to the Internet.

Goodbye Banners, Hello Webisodes!
Goodbye Banners, Hello Webisodes!
By Chris Young in Video Marketing
RECENTLY I WAS LUNCHING WITH a friend who is high up on the ladder at a Fortune 100. We started talking about the changing business of advertising. In the middle of telling him about how we’re producing and distributing branded original content across a network of sites online, he asked me a very simple question: “Why video content?”
Admittedly, he’s not in the marketing side of things, but he went on to say that he knows who he is (and who his company is), “I’m the producer and seller of Product X, which does A, B and C,” he said, “not the producer of great video content.”
So I said that that was great — and then explained that unfortunately, no one outside of his company knows who he is. I gave him a textbook speech on “brand” and how no one knows if he’s high-end or low-end, all about quality or all about convenience. Then I explained that the worst part is that when he does tell people who he is (mostly via banner advertising), fewer and fewer people tend to trust him. In fact, Don Tapscott’s book “Grown Up Digital” points to a whole generation that is amazingly adept at detecting, filtering, skipping and blocking ad messages all together.
The old screenwriter adage “don’t tell me, show me,” is extremely relevant, and branded entertainment is something advertisers have been doing successfully for years. Just as they embraced running TV spots online, advertisers find it a natural progression to embrace other proven “offline” tactics like product integration and show sponsorship, and bring them online.
Unlike ads, branded content engages people with good story-telling, while at the same time showing your product in action. Rather than telling people the features of Product X, you get to illustrate authentically, without heavy sales spin, how Product X fits into a particular lifestyle.
I pointed out that Honda, which recently produced a “Dream the Impossible” documentary series, states in one of its videos: “Honda is an engine company.” But even as an engine company, Honda strategists saw the potential of tapping into the power of story-telling and communicating personal narratives that correlate with their brand.
Where banner ads simply flash a message, and rich-media ads only invite interaction, good content and Webisodic series hold the customers’ attention for minutes at a time, lure them back for repeat exposure, and communicate much more than the often forgettable “buy me” messaging of a traditional 30-second spot.
In today’s digital environment, where empowered consumers dictate their media schedule and only flock to brands they can relate to and connect with, offering your client base quality and entertaining content is a better way to connect and stick out from the clutter. What’s more, the best of traditional Web advertising still applies. In terms of distribution, content can be super-targeted to the right eyeballs, significantly reducing waste. Could you imagine if television networks, rather than shooting a number of shows out to a diverse audience and crossing their fingers for big pockets of success, could target each of their shows to the people who wanted to watch and enjoy them?
As an example, I pointed out that Honda could easily distribute full episodes of their documentary series around the Web and target them using contextual and behavior methods to get in front of their core target; 25-to-49-year-olds with a youthful spirit and who are comfortable with technology.
Finally, I pointed out that unlike banner ads, whose success is often judged by how many clicks a unit got (a metric that has yet to correlate to brand lift), content can be tracked on a whole new set of much more in-depth metrics.
“You can see how long people are engaged with content, where they rewind or fast-forward, how many times they watch and re-watch content, as well as where and when the pass the content to friends or re-post the content to their own social media sites,” I noted.
I would have continued — but my friend stopped me at that point by yelling over me, “I get it! Goodbye banners, hello Webisodes.”
“Exactly,” I said. “Exactly.”

Add Video to Your Web Site : The Number 1 Reason
Add Video To Your Web Site: The Number 1 Reason
By Michael A Jones in Video Marketing
Why add video to your web site? To make more money! That’s of course assuming your web site is there to promote your products and services. How can adding video to your web site make you more money? Consider these facts about the way the brain works.
In the 1970’s groundbreaking research was done resulting in a much greater understanding of how the brain functions. The work of a Bulgarian scientist called Georgi Lozanov in the 1960’s laid the foundation for what the West would later call accelerated learning. Various dominant learning modalities were categorized which included audial, visual, and kinesthetic. Although our brains absorb information from all our senses, it was discovered that every individual has a preferred learning modality. Identify it and you can learn must faster.
But now, here is a critical statistic. It was also discovered through many tests that a majority of people like to learn visually. They like to see things as they absorb information. Some studies even put the figure as high as 65% of the population who absorb and recall information best by seeing.
Now can you see where this fits in when we talk of why you should add video to your web site? Pictures can make a huge difference in the way your message comes across. You can state something but when you show a picture of it, well, the effect is immediate.
In the late 1870’s experiments were done with moving pictures. Using 24 cameras, an English photographer by the name of Eadweard Muybridge, photographed a horse in fast motion. The series of photographs settled a debate of the day as to whether all four hooves leave the ground when a horse is running. The resulting ‘movie’ proved conclusively that they do.
From those humble beginnings, motion pictures developed to what they are today. Who can argue that motion pictures have not had an incredibly substantial impact on the 20th and 21st centuries, not only in the arts, but also in technology and politics.
This presents an amazing opportunity for the modern day marketer. Add video to your web site and you capitalize on this highly successful modern medium to get your message across. A large number of people think in pictures. So if you have a video presentation highlighting aspects of your products and services, think of how your sales conversion rates can increase.
Also, when you add video to your web site, you keep visitors there longer. Isn’t that another key aim of any webmaster? Using a tool like Google Analytics, you can measure the average time spent on your web site or on your web page. The longer a visitor stays on your site the greater the chance they will take action, either by browsing further on your site, or clicking on the link that will lead to the action you want.
As an experiment, why not add a video to your web site on one page, and then make a copy of that page without the video. Then do a split test and track the visitor behavior over a period of days or weeks. You may be astonished at the results.
Here’s another idea. In addition to adding video to your web site, why not add video to your blog or ebay auction? You may see your sales or signups soar as a result.
So to boil it all down, why add video to your web site? To make money. Why keep spending out trying to get more traffic when you can increase the sales conversion ratio of the traffic you already receive. Make your web site ’sticky’ by adding video so your visitors will not just click away but engage and actually stay a while. The longer they stay the better for you.

How To Use YouTube To Increase Traffic To Your Website
How To Use YouTube To Increase Traffic To Your Website
By Richard Adams in Video Marketing
After Google, YouTube is now apparently the most-used search engine in the world. YouTube now allegedly sees more searches than either Yahoo or MSN. I think that’s amazing. And I also think it is an amazing opportunity for those of us who want to increase traffic to our websites.
But does YouTube really represent a realistic option for increasing traffic to your site? Last year I set out to test this very theory because, frankly, I was a little cynical. My own suspicions were that most of these searches were from teenage kids looking for clips of their favourite bands or stupid stunts and I doubted that YouTube could be effectively harnessed for the sake of marketers.
So I created a small number of short (2-5 minute) videos on a topic related to one of my websites and published them to see what happened.
And I must say that the results truly impressed me. People were finding my videos either in YouTube itself - or on Google which tends to rank videos highly - and then watching my videos. Over a few months, thousands of people watched them and a decent number then clicked on the link pointing to my site.
As a result I saw a marked increase in my traffic as a result of this experiment and it really turned me on to the possibilities.
So how difficult is it to harness the power of YouTube? Honestly, the answer is not very, and I’d to tell you exactly how I did it in the hope that you too can benefit from the power of online video.
Making The Video
Nothing flashy is need to make a video to market your website. Personally I used a cheap digital camera and just basically spoke into the lens. For YouTube ensure your videos don’t go over 10 minutes in total length. Personally I pretty much read some of my more popular articles and tips so I was able to reuse much of my existing content rather than having to create plenty of new content.
I literally took an article that was generating traffic and then read it to camera.
Upload The Video
Sign up for a free YouTube account if you haven’t already and you will find how easy it is to upload the video. All you need to do is to locate it on your computer and press the upload button.
Once the video is uploaded the final step is to name it correctly. As you are basically reusing the content of an existing article, use the article title as the title for your video and include a link back to your website in the description.
That really is pretty much all there is too it. I recommend doing a number of these videos as they can be a little hit and miss and the more you have out there the greater the difference will be to your traffic levels.
One final tip is to enable comments on your videos in your YouTube account as I have found a surprising number of people are keen to ask questions about the videos I have uploaded and this can also be a good way to lure people back to my site by explaining that the answer to their questions is at this page or that page on my site.

The 7 Effective Methods Of Getting Targeted Traffic
The 7 Effective Methods Of Getting Targeted Traffic
By Nelson Tan in Website Traffic
I never believe in buying traffic. How do you think visitors come to know me? Did they pay to know me? Most probably they subscribed because of a free download in the first place. You may not remember how but YOU are the traffic. You are targeted because I hit your hot button correctly
There are enough free resources out there on the Net to keep one busy with getting traffic, but here are the only 7 most effective methods: search engine optimization (SEO), link exchange, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, article submissions, blogging, viral marketing and massive giveaway events.
Search engine optimization is the practice of optimizing your pages for the search engines so that your pages are optimized for the search engines to be searched with the most optimized keywords. You get the idea? SEO English is a bit like tongue twister. If you know the exact keywords your business or industry is famous for, you increase the density of those keywords in your page.
Actually, I don’t understand why some folks make SEO sound so complicated. On the other hand, other folks say SE spiders are so smart at discerning quality of content such that SEO is really much ado about nothing. Moreover, SEO English is just so unnatural sometimes and abuse may constitute as keyword spamming, unless you know the secret to writing it ‘fluently’. SEO is absolutely crucial in niche markets where competition in SE listings is not hot.
Exchanging links with like-minded webmasters create a network for increased traffic distribution. Interested visitors are free to visit your site when they see your link on other people’s sites. SEO targeted towards Google is only half the battle. Its PageRank tool measures your page’s link popularity and ranks it higher according to scale. The more links pointing into your site as opposed to pointing out, the merrier.
* PageRank looks at pages, not sites.
Pay-per-click advertising is all about how much you are willing to pay the PPC program for a high listing so that visitors take notice of your link and visit it. You incur the bid price you set for yourself for every visit (click). Considering ROI, this is particularly useful when you are selling a product. Security features are in place so there’s no point being trigger-happy if you don’t like some sites.
Article submissions can give you an amazing amount of traffic, but only if you use the method right. You should make sure the content you’re submitting is easily understandable, and only covers one or two points, leading the people back to your site with your resource box. Most importantly, you need to make sure that your article is interesting, compelling, and of course, informative. Once you’ve submitted these articles to several article directories, you’ll probably see a marked rise in link backs, traffic and more.
Blogging is a free way to make sure that you’re reaching traffic in all regions of your niche. It has come up in stature from its days of being simply a place to ’share’ with your friends and is now a valid, and often well used promotional structure for a site-or even a basis for the site itself. Using WordPress especially can mean that you’ve got an easy-to-promote, amazingly simple to update site structure that allows you to build and maintain effortlessly. As a traffic generation tool, it is also a good way to create, maintain and direct traffic to your site. The more you blog using popular search terms related to your niche, the more intensive you’re practicing SEO as the archiving system of the WordPress blog script is absolutely well suited for Google indexing. Try to post on alternate days if not everyday.
Viral Marketing is everything and anything to do with propagating your name and URL through giving away free e-books, reports, article and e-zine submission, classified ads etc. But this is only by technological means. With people, we are talking about word-of-mouth.
Massive giveaway events come once in a while but they are really the biggest source of opt-in subscribers for anyone who participate in them. The organizer announces a proposal to carry out such an event, inviting contributors to submit a product of their own or one with resell rights to be given away for free. When the event begins, anyone and everyone can download all these exclusive products as long as they opt in. It’s very easy to get 1,000 subscribers in a week.
Of course, the organizer gets the most numbers, but he also puts in the most work to make sure the web server doesn’t collapse due to traffic overload, the gifts don’t go missing and the event proceeds on schedule.
Awareness and application of the 7 above traffic generation methods slowly but surely builds a good list of followers who are willing to patronize us.

Keyword Strategies: Increase Your Keyword Rankings
Keyword Strategies: Increase Your Keyword Rankings
By Titus Hoskins in SE Optimization
Keywords are ground zero. They are essential to your online success. You must get your keywords right or it’s game over before you even get started. Mainly because keywords are the most important element of your online marketing.
It can’t be emphasized enough, especially to beginning online webmasters or marketers, choosing the right profitable keywords will largely determine whether or not you succeed with your online endeavors. You simply must get this element right or your marketing will be in big trouble.
What Are Keywords?
Lets start at the very beginning, keywords are the exact words someone types into a search engine to find what they’re looking for on the web. Some keywords are valuable/profitable, while others are virtually worthless.
Profitable keywords are the ones that convert into a sale, a lead or potential client/customer for your company or product. These are the words someone is searching in order to buy a product or hire a service. Someone searching for “honeymoon vacation packages” is probably in the market to book a honeymoon vacation and could turn out to be very profitable for the right website or business.
Profitable keywords are the ones where the searcher is in the right “mind-set” or frame of mind to buy what they’re searching for on the web. Tailor your online marketing to target these profitable keywords and it can spell success.
So what’s the whole process for finding or choosing profitable keywords to use in your marketing? Lets look at some ways to proceed…
Number of Keyword Searches Made?
You need to find out how many searches are made for your chosen keywords each month. Simply use WordTracker or a site like SEOBook. These will give you a preliminary number of searches made each month for your keyword. Highly popular, well-searched keywords with hundreds of thousands of searches each month will be extremely hard to rank for because you will have stiff competition from major companies with limitless resources.
I like to pick less popular keywords that get only a couple of hundred of searches each day because my chances of getting on the first page greatly increases. But don’t get fixated on the number of searches, some keyword phrases that only get four or five searches daily, can still be very profitable.
For serious keyword research in a particular niche market I like to use Brad Callen’s Keyword Elite which is professionally designed software that makes all your keyword research so much easier. But there are plenty of free keyword tools you can use. One handy keyword tool is Google Adwords external suggestion tool which will help you find valuable keywords.
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
Commercial Intent of Keywords?
But how do you know if a keyword is profitable? Well, one convenient tool is from MSN which helps you with “Detecting Online Commercial Intention” of keywords. Just type in a keyword and it will give you a percentage or probability your keyword query has commercial benefit or intent.
http://adlab.msn.com/Online-Commercial-Intention/Default.aspx
Conversion Rate of Keywords?
Once you have your chosen keywords in place, next you want to have a landing page that converts those keywords or traffic from those keywords into buyers or leads for your online business. This is another crucial element of your online marketing - you must have a landing page or content/site that converts into a sale or you obviously won’t make any revenue.
Keep in mind, if you’re into affiliate marketing, you main goal is not to sell but to “pre-sell” your products or services. One effective way I have found to do this is to give potential customers/clients valuable information they can use in making their final purchasing choice. Comparison sites do well, as do review sites, top ten sites… potential customers use the Internet and keywords to not only find products but more so, to find information on those products. Your goal should be to provide this valuable information to make their task a little bit easier for them and they will reward you with a sale.
What are Long-Tail Keywords?
Long-Tail keywords are simply that: long three or four word phrases that searchers use to find what they’re looking for on the web. Because they are highly specific, long-tail keywords have proven to have better conversion rates than general keywords. This is also just common sense, someone searching for a “2005 ford mustang convertible” may just be in the right mind-set to buy such a vehicle; as compared to someone searching for a more general keyword phrase such as “sports cars.”
Study your website traffic logs religiously to find long-tail keywords that turn into a sale. Target these long-tail keywords in your marketing. Even buy PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising in the three major search engines - Google Adwords, Yahoo! Marketing and MicroSoft AdCenter - for these valuable/profitable keywords.
And build higher rankings in organic search for these long-tail keyword phrases. It’s really not that difficult for long phrases, especially if they’re related to your site; many times you can reach the top spot in a matter of days, especially in Google.
How To Rank High For Your Chosen Profitable Keywords?
Of course, the million dollar question is: HOW do you rank in the top spot for your chosen keywords? I believe the key to ranking high in the search engines (especially Google) is to be persistent in building your rankings for your keywords. Take a long-term view or approach, sometimes it may take months, even years, to rank in the top Five for your highly competitive keywords.
The best strategy is to “stick to it” and keep building relevant links to your keyword landing page. Create related blogs with valuable content linking back to your keywords. Write keyword related articles and distribute them all over the web. Create Google Alerts for your keywords and them place comments/links in the newly formed pages on the web that Google is indexing.
Be pro-active, download the SEOQuake toolbar and find your main keyword competitors. Check out their links and then go out and get the same links. Write better higher quality content than your main competitors because Google always rewards great content. Plus, use the free http://www.Addthis.com button and let your visitors bookmark your great content in all the social bookmark sites and build your keyword links for you.
Do keyworded Press Releases with your embedded links and spread them all over the web. Get these Press Releases into Google news and other important places on the web. http://www.PRWeb.com is really a great place for your press releases since you can embed your keywords in your links.
If you can try to get your most important keywords in your domain name. Many SEO experts argue the merits of this but from my own experience and marketing - it is much easier to rank high for your keywords if you have them in the domain name. Again, it is just common sense, if you have your main keyword in the domain, this keyword is obviously telling the search engines this is what your site is all about. I have even bought domains and created sites specifically around certain keywords just to rank high.
Always remember, you have to be persistent, I have been fighting some keyword battles for over four or five years! For really profitable keywords, it can be a constant struggle to remain on the first page, but the trick is not to give up, just keep fighting away at your competitors. Persistence usually pays off in the end and those profitable keywords will have your links in the top spot. Make ranking high for those profitable keywords your number one marketing strategy. Concentrate all your marketing efforts towards getting plenty of quality traffic for those keywords and you will succeed online.

Sponsoredreview Easy Approval

2. You can make money as an affiliate marketer without a product of your own. One problem many home business owners face is trying to decide what they should sell and how can they make money.
With affiliate marketing you can sell other people’s products and get paid a commission directly from them. And the affiliate merchant takes care of everything for you so that you concentrate on using the Internet to sell your products.
3. There is a tremendous amount of money to be made today thanks to the Internet. Selling information products online is an extremely lucrative way to make money at home.
Information products are easy to create and do not require any shipping for the customer to receive them. Once your product is created you can continue to sell it over and over and pocket the profits.
4. Interacting with people in your home business is extremely easy to do thanks to the tools provided by the Internet. Discussion forums, blogs, videos such as You Tube, social networking sites like Facebook, and Tweeter, online audio, email, and other various ways make it possible for you to build a successful home business.
5. Home business opportunities can come in the form of a business that is pre-designed which makes it possible for anyone to get started. This is important because many people do not have the skills necessary to start and run a home business of their own.
A business in a box could include such things as your own website, your own email newsletter, marketing material such as graphics and banners, online training in the form of webinars, and much more. The idea is you will have everything you need to be successful right from the moment you get started.
This is a few great things that we find right with most home business opportunities today. You can be positive that you have an excellent chance to succeed if you will develop skills and work hard on a daily basis.

Link Popularity is Very Important
Link Popularity is Very Important
According to Wikipedia, Link popularity is a measurement of the quantity and quality of other web sites that link to a particular website on the World Wide Web. It is an example of the move by search engines towards off-the-page-criteria to determine quality content. In simple words, link popularity is the factor which is measure by the quality backlinks pointing towards your website.
In the search engines, Link popularity acts as an important part to get the visibility of a website among the top of the search results. Therefore, all the search engines expect at least one or more links pointing to a website, or else your web site will drop from the search engines index.
Some major search engines like Google uses a unique link analysis system to remark the web pages. The viewpoint of link popularity is that major and important websites will draw huge links and the sites whose content in not so good may not be able to attract the links. Link popularity gives more weight on the quality backlinks and not the number of links.
Search engines think that if your website is good and has any value, then other websites should link to you. If no one links to your website, it means that something is wrong with your site. If the number of links pointing to your website is more then your chances of popularity, authority and relevance is high.
Except Yahoo, all the other search engines factor link popularity into their algorithms though, it is calculated differently. As Google gives weight on the quality of the links, Yahoo measures it on the total number of backlinks pointing to your website. Google and the other search engines are interested in providing the most relevant and topical information for search queries at the top of the SERP’s because this increases the chances of the searcher finding what they are looking for and thus amplifies the perception that the particular search engine provides relevant and applicable websites for search queries.
Link building is a very specialized task which needs a good knowledge of the link building, where and how to find and build high quality links.
A booming link building strategy includes: directory submissions, both general and niche, internal blogging links, linking to business partners or local businesses, social bookmarking sites where you can get good backlinks and writing good articles and press releases that can get your website some high quality links. A link building strategy encompasses all the available mediums online, from social networking sites to the traditional directory. Link building is not only about requesting links but it is about developing a strong brand and websites to which the key online communities want to link to

How Build Backlinks For Web
How Build Backlinks For Web
Google is the undisputed 800 lb Go’rilla, so when you are looking to get to the top of the search engine pile you want to be on the top of Google.
Google knows that they are the 800 lb Go’rilla, and knows that people will try to game them, but Google can easily see through any link facade you might be trying to run, and they will penalize you for it. Links building needs to be done with these 3 things in mind:
1. Start Slow, Gain Momentum
2. Spread Out Your Link Sources
3. Get Your Most Authoritative and Relevant Links FIRST
A lot of movies and news stories can create the kind of buzz that gain thousands of back-links in just a few days. Websites on the other hand has a little slower link growth. Even most news stories don’t hold their ranks in the SERPs very long, simply because they get a blast of links, and then that’s it - they don’t have a steady stream of people linking to the website, which is what Google is looking for.
So that tells you some of the big “G” wants. In other words make your link building look natural. Your links should be slow and spread out over your site not just on your index page. Start off slow and gain momentum. If you want to build 10 or 15 links a day, start of with just a few a day for a few days. Work up to 10 or 15 after about 5 or 6 days.
Also spread the links out over your site. The more natural looking it is, the more effective (and higher ranking) it will be. Most new marketers do not really think through his/her traffic strategy. Most think “Article marketing” will do the job for them. Why? They think article marketing is the “end all” for backlinks and traffic. Yes article marketing will get you some traffic but it is only one part of a good backlinking system that will get you to the top.
If you are concentrating 100% of your efforts into creating and posting articles to Ezinearticles.com or GoArticle, or any other article directory, you won’t get the kind of ranking you are looking for, quickly or easily. Why not? Google looks for a natural pattern of links. Your site may have a 120 backlinks but….all those backlinks are coming form just 1, 2, or 3 sites. When Google sees that only 2 or 3 sites find your website interesting and relevant enough to link to. The result? Not very much “weight” in the search engines. You want to spread your links out from many, many sources - here’s a small list to get you moving in the right direction.
1. Website Directories
2. Article Directories
3. Blogs
4. Competitor Websites
5. News Websites
6. LinkVana
7. Forum Signatures and posts
All of these should be employed in one way or another when you are working on a link-building campaign.
Try to get the most authoritative and relevant links first. That is the link with the best page rank, or a .edu or .gov backlink This is huge, as link age, and authority has a lot to do with your ranking in Google as much as anything else. You are going to want to grab your most authoritative and relevant links in the beginning, so that as the months go on and you build more and more links, you will be aging your most important links. Here is a small list of the links you should try to grab early on: Website directories, DMOZ, Yahoo, High PR Niche websites.
Some say your “competitor websites” but they may want to much. Me I like FREE high PR backlinks. It take a little more time but it pays off in the long run. I have some sites that I have used my backlinking system on and those sites are on the first page of Google. Every once in a while one of my sites may fall off of the front page. All I have to do is use one of my high page rank backlink resource sites and BAM! right back on the first page.
Getting on the first page of Google and staying there is like being a Old West gun fighter. There is always someone out there “gunning for you”. They want to knock you out of the race. Send you to “the search engine boot hill-page 195662″.
I use a proven system of getting to the first page of google that is slow and steady, but works! My clients like it, and I like it

About Google
About Google
Imagine a wiki kind of Google. That’s basically what social bookmarking is. Now if you’re fairly new to the internet you may not know what a wiki is. Everyone knows what Google is.
A wiki is a knowledge base that can be updated and edited by users. Imagine if that was Google and you could comment on it’s search results and rate them yourself, then share that with other people.
Voila, you have social bookmarking, more or less.
Social bookmarking is a relatively new technology that has changed the way people experience the web by allowing users to store, classify, rate, comment on and search links to any website or blog.
This is why social bookmarking is so important in getting traffic to your website. It’s run by and for the very people you are trying to attract to your site. Social bookmarking is all about the collective voice and the power of the people.
A social bookmarking system can rank a resource, or website, based on how many times it has been bookmarked by users, whereas conventional search engines rank resources based on the number of external links pointing to it.
Instead of a search engine, you can find interesting links through a site’s community of users, thereby transforming navigation of the internet into a “social” experience.
For users, social bookmark sites can be useful as a way to access a consolidated set of bookmarks from other users, organize large numbers of bookmarks and share bookmarks with contacts. Social bookmarking can allow you to share the sites that you own to others with relevant tastes, driving traffic to your site, and creating valuable backlinks.
As you know backlinks are vital in gaining a good ranking in the traditional search engines.
Social bookmarks continue to be one of the driving forces of this evolving web. It is all about labeling the web, making it easier to find the content that you’re looking for by passing on what you’ve found.
I believe it is for this very reason that Google invests in social sites as it’s not beyond reason that these sites could one day rival Google itself. So, ignore the value of social bookmarking at your peril. If you’re not in there, one day, you may very well not be found.

Doing Search Engine Optimisation Blog
Doing Search Engine Optimisation Blog
The blog, originally called a ‘weblog’, provides a fantastic way to inform, educate, and of course entertain people on a variety of subjects. But if you have expertise in a particular field, blogging can provide an excellent and natural way to improve your website’s search engine optimisation, whether it is a business, charity or personal website.
By creating interesting and useful content for your readers, and including back links to your website, you will, over time, improve your ranking on the major search engines. But as various search engines have documented, there are an eye boggling number of blogs available - well over 100 million as of 2008. So how do you make your offering stand out from the many blogs out there?
Bloggers use a plethora of ways to help their blog catch the eye of the passing reader, but the most crucial factor is providing information that is useful - so it’s a good idea to create an intriguing headline based on your knowledge each time you create a blog entry. Why not grab your reader’s attention with a question that your entry proposes to answer? Another effective technique is using lists, for example, 10 Effective Ways to Better Search Engine Optimisation.
Yet another popular method is simply making a controversial statement which is bound to rile a few readers, and maybe even get your blog link sent around. The more interest and traffic visiting your blog, the higher the percentage of visitors back to your website. Equally, the more relevant your blog entries are to the content on your website, the higher search engines will place your site for certain search terms.
It’s not only gripping copy that can keep readers on your blog - there are a number of other eye catching ways to entertain. Adding a relevant video, known as a VLOG when it is the main feature of a blog, is a great way to attract attention to your area of expertise. Similarly, photos, sketches and music have all been used to great effect by bloggers the world over. And if other bloggers add you to their favourite list, this will automatically link back to their blog, thereby boosting your status.
Choosing a host for your blog can be a little bewildering, as a large number of companies offer such services. But once you have selected the kind of blog you want to create, be it video, graphic, or simply text based, you’re sure to find the ideal provider after a brief search.
When a blog is created with care by someone who has a genuine interest or knowledge of a subject, or who has thoroughly researched a particular area, it can generate valuable traffic for your website, because it will be read by people who already have an interest in your field. By generating content which is useful and not sales-like, you gain the trust of your reader, before gently nudging them towards your quality product, service or cause. Blogs are a great way to hone your own writing skills and provide a cost free, fun route to better search engine optimisation.

How to Write a BLOG with Excelent
How to Write a BLOG with Excelent
Blogging has definitely become a colossal thing in the online industry. It not only accentuates your online presence but also strengthens communication between you and your readers. And thus, every blog should be written with the purpose of entertaining your readers by giving offering them quality informative, Hence, while writing a blog post it is important to keep in mind certain rules and features and, of course, the format in which the content is presented to them. Let us now discuss these features in detail:
Post with a specific reason
Every post should have a specific message, reason or topic. Make sure that with every blog of yours, you convey some valuable piece of information or express your opinion on something readers would value.
Maintain your style of writing
Bogging is the most spy way to express yourself or impart information in your own distinct style of delivery. As for instance, if you own a business of fashionable clothing, ensure to make your blogs spunky and snazzy with good use of jargons and latest slangs or acronyms. This not only attracts a lot of interested visitors but also increases the chances of subscriptions. And, do not try to bend your style even if you receive harsh criticism initially.
Consistent writing
Consistency should be maintained both in style and subject matter. What usually happens is that you select a particular niche to discuss about and attract eager readers through this catchy subject and captivating style. Avoid inclusion of unrelated issues or topics as this may only confuse and lose your readers. Also, have a consistent writing style as readers wish to follow a particular and unique style of delivering your opinion and information.
Have captivating Headlines
Create headlines that are controversial, skeptical, or amusing. Give your blogs a mystifying touch that builds up the curiosity level of your visitors. Play on their emotions; shock, humor, sympathy, or intrigue to catch their attention and compel them to read more. However, also remember that in case of blogs, no one demands a mysterious novel with the intent to keep readers in suspense and string them along.
Reader friendly pattern
Ensure make good use of bullets and clear patterns that highlight main features of your blog. You may also ask a question, use an analogy, metaphor, and anecdote, and can cite a shocking statistic. This sort of a layout easily catches attention due to the spacing involved with a listing format as opposed to words and sentences that seem to run together in a paragraph type of formatting. Another thing that attracts readers’ interest largely is debunking of myths. Hence, write about well- known myths that should not be followed in your industry.
Optimize your post with keywords
Include appropriate keywords within your content so that search engines can easily find your content and display it in the SERPs for an individual looking for similar sort of information.
Hence, while writing a blog, try to be original and keep in mind what both your readers and the search engines would like to notice.
Ask your readers for quality/hard questions Allow your readers to ask you their most critical questions related to your topic. This ensures their repetitive visits to your page and helps understanding the needs and interests of your readers in the same field.

Spy Gear and Spy Equipment for Surveillance
Spy Gear and Spy Equipment for Surveillance
By : Rick Hendershot
As electronic recording devices and other types of gadgets such as video cameras, audio recorders and location trackers keep getting smaller, it has become much easier and cheaper to keep an eye on just about anyone you want. Today's electronic surveillance equipment is more versatile, capable and less expensive than ever.
The most common uses for this equipment is to keep tabs on your company staff who might be goofing off too much or dipping their hand in the till, your spouse who may be cheating on you, or your children who could be getting into all kinds of trouble or finding themselves in dangerous situations.
Spy gadgets come in a wide range of types and sizes, and they are perfect for doing a little bit of unobtrusive checking up on people. Usually, the smaller and less conspicuous your surveillance equipment is, the less likely you are to be discovered and find yourself without any friends.
The usual way of keeping an eye on employees, for example, is to install small hidden video cameras in strategic spots here and there in your office or work area. Tiny cameras are available as either wired or wireless models. Wired models usually consist of a very small video camera - with or without audio - with connectors that can be plugged into a television monitor or digital recording device. The cameras themselves can be mounted any place where the wires will not be seen.
Wireless video surveillance spy cameras are even more versatile. The camera itself can be hidden in a variety of different objects - for instance in a simulated pack of gum, a ball point pen, a man's belt buckle, an aerosol spray can of bathroom cleaner or air freshener, the face of a clock, or a smoke detector, just to name a few. These systems usually come with a special camera, wireless transmitter and a small digital video recorder where video and audio can be stored for later viewing and analysis.
Spying on your spouse often requires a different strategy. For instance, you may want to install a telephone voice recorder. There are models that can be connected to any telephone line and record both sides of the conversation. Remote audio listening and recording devices can also be used to listen in on conversations taking place a few feet away or on the other side of the world.
And of course there are numerous tracking devices available that can be mounted out of site in cars, boats, trucks, or even in luggage or parcels. These are ideal for keeping track of where your kids are taking the family car, as a way to follow the progress of a parcel, or to track valuable assets when they are lost or stolen. Both GSM and GPS devices are available, and you can even get a combination tracking and audio listening device that can easily be hidden in any vehicle.

At this time the rich world is dominated by the field of computer and internet. In the decades to come, a new field has come of that will make it into one of the rich world that is new Nanotechnology. Nanotechnology is the technology associated with the size below 100 nm. scope of material, until the film devais.
